Cobh Ukulele Festival and so much more
GHTime Code(s): nc nc The weekend of 27th to 29th May sees the inaugural Ukulele Festival in the Harbour town of Cobh. The headline concert with the West Cork Ukulele Orchestra in Cobh Heritage Centre is sold out but there are plenty of opportunities to hear some fantastic music in the pubs and on the bandstand in the Promenade. See the full programme here. There are two magnificent Cruise ships in Cobh also over the weekend. The Mein Schiff arrives on Saturday and the Celebrity Silhouette on Sunday. A Summer Swing event takes place on Sunday with Market stalls, children’s entertainment and music on the bandstand. Add in all of Cobh’s other great attractions and Cobh is a great place to visit this weekend.
